Koh Yao Island Guide
Koh Yao Island is found in the emerald sea of Phang Nga Bay. The Islands of Koh Yao lie still hidden between Phuket and Krabi. 44 islands are located in the Bay. The Yao Islands are 25 kilometres from the mainland coast of Krabi and 48 kilometres from the island of Phuket.
Serene beaches and lush interiors. This is Koh Tao Island. Koh Yao is located in the south of Phang-nga Bay is 42 km away from the mainland of Phang-nga Province. Koh Yao has a total area of 141 square km. Koh Yao Yai is twice size of of Koh Yao Noi. Koh Yao Noi is the center of government with all government offices located there. There are no real roads on Ko Yao and the only vehicles are bicycles and the rare seen motorcyclsaurs.
